Here is the flip chart for "My Redeemer Lives." It is hymn #135. I am excited to teach the primary this song and to point out that President Hinckley wrote the words for this song. I had fun searching for images to go along with this song and the font is super big so you can even use it during a performance in Sacrament Meeting. I like to print mine on cardstock and then 3 hole punch the top for easy flipping. As a tip, if you are viewing this from your phone, click the three dots in the upper left hand corner and select "print layout" for easier viewing. You can access the flip chart here by simply clicking on the title of the file below:
Spoons
Here is a video to sing this song using spoons. I just bought a whole bunch of cheap disposable spoons for the kids and stuck them in a ziplock bag inside of our class music bags so they are easy for the teachers to pull out. Definitely check out my post on musical instrument bags if you need an idea on how to organize all your instruments. And feel free to let me know how you like this video too :)
Finger Lights
Finger Lights are probably one of my primary's most favorite ways to sing a song. In this video, I use two at a time. I just bought them in bulk at amazon and put them in a ziplock bag in our musical bags. You could alter this video as needed and just use one per kid. But I definitely recommend not letting the kids keep them because they are so much fun to use over and over.
Well, that's all I have for this song so far. I will keep updating this post as more ideas come to me. Happy singing :)
